Franois,

I haven't tried it myself, but you can use DOS or Windows to set the file
attributes to hidden. You can still open the file etc, but you have to know
it is there. The problem is, if someone has Explorer configured to show
hidden files, then it's all in vain.

I don't want them 'hidden' or 'invisible' in DOS or Windows, I would like to make them invisible, inaccessible in QPC so that I can't acidentally delete them with a DOSx_ drive.

Start a command line instance (Start>Run and type "Command" -or "cmd" if you're running NT/2000 or XP - WITHOUT THE QUOTES ("") of course!)
Then CD\<your folder name here>
and finally type: attrib +h qxl.win <ENTER>
This will effectively hide qxl.win from QPC... I am not sure if it will allow you to delete it or not if you type "delete WINx_dos_directory_qxl.win" but at least you won't see it.

Phoebus

I don't want to make 'hidden' in Windows (in fact, I have done that a long time ago), I want to make them unreachable in QPC.

Thanks for the help!
Have a fine weekend.
