This is not documented anywhere in my Qptr manual!! (3rd revision)
so its the first I hear of it. It looks like its been in the code all along.
Ive needed such a call many a time!
Apart from the timeout, are there any other parameters?

It is in my manual just as QPTR Updates (no date).
Perhaps you didn't renew the subscription for updates(?)
Also in that update are the trap#1 calls sms.sevt and sms.wevt that trouble J. Hunkins.
