When I was in Aberdeen the post was really slow, it took 2 weeks from
Surrey. I remember buying Sinclair QL World when I was up there from the
main John Menzies who used to stock it (was it for you). I had the
October 1992 issue with Minerva MK II and Hermes review in it, I nearly
bought the penultimate issue (the one with the chess knights on the
cover) but as student could not afford £2.50. I bought QL World because
it was there, which shows magazines are a shop window, and because of
the Sinclair connection. The previous contact with the QL was QL User
suppliments in Your Spectrum. It was the advert for the GoldCard that
got me most interest and it was because of this QL World that I
contacted Quanta in 1998 then joined in 2000, thus entering the QL scene.
