I urgently need to install the latest service pack on my W2k machines!
However, it is a 120+Mb download! and I dont have broadband. Would any of
you like to contact me about downloading this file onto a CD and sending it
to me for a fiver or so?

SOO unpatriotic and off-topic, I know, but I dont know of any other option.
The updates don't work that way.
They require the machine connected, and they work out what updates are
needed. This then happens automagically without an explicit file being
downloaded.
Sorry to continue an OT discussion here but you are wrong. You can go to the Microsoft site and download the SP4. The pack you need to download is the one for network users. This is because people with multiple machine do not want to connect them individually to do the updates.
