We got a page up on http://www.firshman.co.uk/
on last Saturday during the show at Roundwood with mug shots of everyone
there.
Darren sent an email to this list telling everyone to look, but no sign
of it.
I didn't see his email on this list.
I saw the pictures half an hour ago or so.
Of course I would have preferred a picture of someone working on/with a QL program instead of a Windows application :-(

Well if we are successful with the whole internet suite Messenger will never be the same :-) Out of need Tony had to use (I think it was Darren's) computer to try and help me out... It's not everyday that you get 80% of the QL's hardware gurus in one place (Keith Mitchell, Stuart Honeyball and Tony Firshman...) probably a little lightheaded due to Guinness (two Ns, two Ss) granted but nonetheless invaluable...
You cannot see it but I was showing Keith Mitchell how to change the colours on the new version of QPAC 2 in one of the pictures. John Hall was also working though some stuff under QPC2 and Tony was communicating with Phoebus a bout how to fix his errant Qubide - albeit via Windoze but all QL related. Don't jump to convolutions.
QubIDE btw semi fixed after I tore another one apart and grabbed it's DIN64 connectors and grafted them on the Aurora and SuperGold Card. (A horrible task I assure you, especially with a Radio Shack brand soldering iron/desoldering pump). Oh where is my Antex (Made in Great Britain)???
Amazingly all works (at least less crap on screen than before). Oh what we do to test Q-Word ;-) (Which btw runs faster on the SGC/Aurora under SMSQ/E v.3.01 than the equivalent in QPC AND Q40!!! - Rich Mellor with valuable assistance from Marcel does it again!)
Speaking of SGC, anyone knows what the heck is that resistor that's soldered on the din64 connector supposed to do? (I put it right back in but I am wondering... I don't remember it being there before Keith got ahold of my SGC)
BTW: Roy before I am able to extract what you need out of the SGC you may want to grab Marcel's version out of the latest WMDEMO.WIN file (he has his own version albeit without support for "icons")
