.............Why don't you solder up a few cables and sell them as sernet
cables at shows for those that aren't too handy with a soldering iron, or
just couldn't be bothered making one themselves??

just a suggestion as one trader to another, who knows - might even make you
profitable this year :-)))

Probably then 'cos your cable is worng.
Roy couldn't until one Byfleet show when I wired a cable for him.

It needs to be the std handshook crossover one - ie QL DTR is treated as
RTS (which it is).  This has been discussed here in much length, and
pinouts are on Dilwyn's site.n
