Yes, my successes have been with this type of cable, which I think is wired like the diagrams I included in QL Today and on my website somewhere. Wiring is critical, the slightest booboo and it will either not work at all or only at very low baudrates (usually not at all). Sernet is one off those things that either it fails miserably and takes ages to set up, or once working works perfectly, faultlessly and quickly becomes one of those things you could never have managed without it. When I get time I'll go back to the Aurora system to try that out again. -- Dilwyn Jones
