I found I could program successfully for the Q40 very few of the
recovered eproms Peter Graf sent me - mainly ST.
The situation was so bad I got my programmer 'repaired' at a cost of
about 100. Omnipro found nothing particularly wrong with the
programmer. It certainly had always been programming the eproms
successfully - it was just that the eproms did not work in the Q40.
I then bought some brand new eproms - ST again I think - and all worked.
Try programming a known workable SMSQ/E (2.91) before embarking on the
new one to make sure the eproms are OK.
