I don't remember if I've brought this up before, but I've got this one problem with my Q40.


Every now and again when it boots up, the screen if full of pretty lines running down the screen. I've found that if I pull out the memory and reseat it, the Q40 boots right up. With the one case I have it takes a couple of minutes to get the case off. I have found that giving the case a good whack the Q40 will boot up just fine.

I'm guessing it's an age thing with the contacts on the memory boards. I've cleaned them with an eraser (rubber for those in the UK) and it does not really seem to help.

Anyone have any suggestions (other than just keep whacking away).
