Hi folks, I would like to become a qlandkartegt user, I have successfully used it in the past with an unreferenced image and osm-stream maps. But for my line of work (sar dogs) I need to use offline maps, as internet connections are often not or only intermittently available for us during call-outs.
I've tried to figure out how to use it and where to get such maps and haven't figured out anything really. For example german official maps are available by state from the respective governmental institutions, but it seems you have to pay by map sheet, which would mean a lot for the complete state. Or there are DVDs available called TOP25 containing the complete raster map 1:25000 but I believe these can't be displayed by qlandkartegt. I hope there is someone on this list, who can tell me what ways there are for me to get legal map data that I can use with qlandkartegt, that is both detailed and reliable.
