Because at the time the article was written raster and streaming maps where handled as raster maps. As the list of of maps became long and confusing, the list was split up in the 3 categories. And no one changed the article. Poor article. But most articles in the wiki share that fate, as no one really volunteers to keep the documentation up-to-date. ;)
