thanks for the input! I have published the files on sf.net, thus they are
available vie online maps menu. I just
noticed that the scale factor is a bit peculiar as I have to over zoom 64x to
see the ortho map in full detail.
Maybe a bit of fine tuning these factors is a good Idea.
I just checked and they offer WMTS service, too. But QMapShack fails to read
the capability sheet :( I have
to debug this.
Btw I need Spanish translation for QMapShack. The language file is already
there. It just needs someone to
translate the 500 somewhat strings :) As the Spanish cartography community is
quite active, maybe
someone is willing to take over the task.
And for all others: Currently there is German and Czech translation. Many other
languages are still missing. I
really look forward to see a Chinese or Japan translation one day. I always
like the Russian translation, too.
Challenging the Russian skills of my father in law :D Thus get involved and
translate QMapShack into your
language. Compared to QLGT, QMS is still a nice walk on the weekend ;) Better
you do it now than in half a
year.
