Hi,

new release! The big change is the binary serialization of GIS items. That
sounds pretty boring to the
average user, but is an important step toward the database. And it is the only
way to store items lossless
compared to GPX.

But binary serialization is mandatory for another feature the average user will
highly appreciate. I am
nursing this idea since two years, but QLGT's internal structure was to wacky
to implement this easily. The
talk is about a full undo/redo feature for all GIS items. Now you can use the
history that is logged with each
change to jump back and forward, similar to what you are used in modern bitmap
manipulation programs,
such as Gimp. And if you use QMapShack's binary format *.qms the history is
stored completely. So you
can undo changes even after saving and loading the item again.

The rest is many little fixes and polishing up the eye candy.

Enjoy the new version!

Oliver
