Hi Oliver,
I have to admit that I never worked with a database folder in QLGT but as I see from your example this nevertheless also offers a possibility to show or not to show any track of your list by simply switching a check box. Regardless of the powerful means to select and highlight a track in QMS there may be situations where you only want to see a subset of your tracks in your sheet. E.g. if you want to make screenshots with different variants of some tracks. So I think any possibility to show / not to show a track (without having the need to delete it) would be helpful.

Another Question: When I have selected a track e.g. by double-clicking to it in the list and this will be indicated by the red border strips - is there any way to deselect it again, of course without to select another track ?
Thanks
Herbert

Hi Herbert

you really use that? I always considered that feature a bad idea as it is not as easy to use as the database. If I have a lot of tracks I put them in a database folder and activate them as needed.

And with the new feature of QMapShack to select an item easily, even if items are cluttered and to highlight it in the tree view, I wonder if the "show" option in the context menu is really needed.

It's not that hard to implement, thus it's less a question of effort. More a question of keeping the GUI simple and reducing the 1000 ways to Rome. Thus what is the advantage of "show" compared over selecting items from lean list in the database?
