you really use that? I always considered that feature a bad idea as it is not 
as easy to use as the database. 
If I have a lot of tracks I put them in a database folder and activate them as 
needed.

And with the new feature of QMapShack to select an item easily, even if items 
are cluttered and to highlight 
it in the tree view, I wonder if the "show" option in the context menu is 
really needed. 

It's not that hard to implement, thus it's less a question of effort. More a 
question of keeping the GUI simple 
and reducing the 1000 ways to Rome. Thus what is the advantage of "show" 
compared over selecting 
items from lean list in the database?
