I have problems to interpret your docu
"Points and sub-points are stored different depending on the GIS item:
*Track* - On save all sub-points are converted to real points. "
How can I save my calculated route as a track with all sub-points ?

the new release took quite some time. But it's worth it. QMapShack can
do offline routing, now. Thanks to Andrew Bishop's nice little routing
engine, Routino, his support in making it a library and having
patience with all my patches to make it fit for Microsoft's compiler

If you use Windows do not download Europe.zip. One file exceeds 4GB.
Too much for the 32bit oriented POSIX API offered by Microsoft. Maybe
we can fix that in later releases. Meanwhile you have to create your
own database with less countries.
Having an offline router has also quite some advantage for drawing
tracks and areas. So far the line snapped along single lines of a
vector map. Now it can snap along routes, making tour planning much
easier. I also reworked the complete complex around line editing and
updated the documentation:

Most time was consumed by getting the routing into QMapShack. But I
also resolved a few feature requests. And of course I fixed many bugs
and GUI glitches. Have a look at the changelog for details.
