I prefer to install software which is not part of the distribution
packages in /usr/local.
So I can not follow this
sed -i 's/\/usr\/local/\/usr/g' Makefile.conf
Nevertheless it works without that change. ccmake found it on /usr/local/...
I just tried it on Kubuntu 14.04.
