so here is current Fedora and EPEL status for QMS 1.8.0
- the desktop-ru.patch sent by Bas is needed too (desktop file
validation fails)
- I've updated Routino to 3.2 in Rawhide (to become Fedora 27) and built
QMapShack there, I will update Routino in Fedora 26 (to be released in
May) too
- we carry a patch [1], because all our Routino binaries have a prefix
to solve a filename conflict with some other package(s), I'll propose a
patch to make the prefix configurable during build time, so no source
patching would be needed
- EPEL-7 is stuck with an older quazip [2] package that doesn't contain
a Qt5 version of the library, so updating QMS is not possible now. One
option would be to bundle quazip with QMS, but better will be to
introduce a standalone quazip-qt5 package for EPEL.

As a result updates for stable Fedora 24/25 will follow soon,
update in EPEL-7 once we solve the quazip packaging.
