Hi Kieran, I haven't try to setting up clamav with root user (I'm using clama-devel / 0.66 updated). This evening I'll try to put clamd as root user and test. Could you please paste an 'ls -la /var/spool/qmailscanner' ? So I restore the original permission of that dir for testing.
