The above log errors show that it is not "working fine".  You either
misunderstood the question, or have significant queue corruption.

And your trigger is completely missing -- I have no idea how you did
that.  Stop qmail and do a `make setup check` from the qmail source
directory.

There's no need for such drastic (and ugly) actions.  Once you fix the
above problems, this won't be necessary.
