Be glad you haven't. Be very, very glad :)

It records the SMTP server's notion of ``the recipient'' at the time of
delivery.

Specifying a mailbox/maildir in a .qmail-default (as qmailadmin does)
means all values of ``the recipient'' (except those with a more specific
.qmail-foo) are deliverable. Once qmail-local has established that, all
vdelivermail gets told is to put email into a specified directory. It
doesn't know that the directory ``belongs'' to some other user.

That sounds ideal. BTW, the UI changes to unify nomenclature of
alias/forward is very welcome. Thanks!

Do you have any plans to retain the current alias delivery behaviour
(i.e. delivery into a specified maildir) in any non-catchall situations?
The ability to share a single maildir between a number of specific
addresses and retain unique envelope information is useful in some edge
cases. If it's not something you had planned to do I'll put it on my
list. I want to get the bitbucket and bounce deliveries finished first.

Thanks, ATB,
