Totally agree. It would be nice to have this kind of management for alias/forwards in the next stable release.

I'll agree as well. Having it deposited directly into the Maildir opens up so many possibilities for problems.


Will the mail get added to the quota correctly? If the account you've aliased to has vacation or forward on it, neither will be activated. What if you later delete the account and replace it with a forward or autoresponder?

Bill & Ken, what do you think? I'm willing to dig into the code to make the change if you agree that it's a good idea.
