So is it possible that a Qmail-Toaster server to run Samba and be a
router with a firewall in the same time?
Sorry to hear about the Fedora64 woes. I just can't afford (myself) or justify (for work) buying a 64bit machine to play with. Samba would be no problem. Honestly, the router shouldn't be a problem, either, since QMail should listen and bind itself to all IP's on port 25/110/etc. You'd want to be very careful in setting up your firewall (iptables scripts) for this, though, to minimize the visibility of your Samba server from a public interface. I would have to agree with Michael Hicks and suggest you use multiple machine, if only for future expansion. I ran a setup here for a long time using IPCop as the firewall/router/VPN (GREAT sub-distro!),a nd had it forwarding the mail ports to an internal IP address. You could then run a Samba server on the private side also, and at least be a little more secure. If you're in a production environment, you probably don't want to put all your eggs in one basket anyway. That's my 2-cents. If you're running this on a shoe string, I'd say go for it. I'd be curious to see a list of what you did to put together to share with everyone else myself.
