Hi Jake,

i have uploaded the file again. so now the cf directory contains all cf files. but the error still comes up. i have looked at the spamassin homepage and searched for the inital cf file.

i compared this to my version and it was absolutely the same .... ?!

things are getting more confusing....?! When i made a "clear" install on a vmware server no error came up. could that problem have sth. to do with the update of the toaster files for spamassassin?

Ciao
Chris

Hello Jake,

i am not really confused. altough that i have delte one of the cf files from the folder described below, the error occured again. might it be, that there is another folder with such cf files?
i am absolutely confused...

Sorry, I'm not understanding. You deleted one of the files from the /usr/share/spamassassin directory? If you did that, you'll need to remove or comment out the scoring in the 50_scores.cf for the ruleset you deleted. It's better to not mess with the files in that directory. If you don't want them to score anything (you don't want the rule to work), then change the scores in your /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf file. Give the rule you don't want a 0 score or something. If you just start changing things in the /usr/share/spamassassin directory, it's going to give you errors.
