hi guys
finally i could finish it sucessfully.I installed a fresh new
qmail toaster server on a Hp Dl 380 on top of centos 4.2.i run the curent
install script without making any changes & everything went fine.i moved my
old email server inbox to this new one using imap.
thanx & lot for helping me all the way.
i need little more help.I am planning to setup a backup qmail server in a
offshore location.i hae server readily installed with centos 4.2now if want
to make this new server my backup server what r the things that hasto be
done
first install centos 4.2 & install qmail toaster add all the 7 domain's &
user's insert my new ip into my email server's mx records.
my mx records
IP url
Weight
xx.xx.xx.xx webmail.xxxabc.com
10 primary email srv
xx.xx.xx.xx webmail2.xxxabc.com
20 backup email srv
is there anything else i have to do to get the backup email server
working.please let me know.
