I want to be sure that the new upgrade script is backing up and
restoring all appropriate config files. If there are any new config
files that aren't included in the upgrade script, please let me know.

Honestly I haven't checked the upgrade script. I've just noticed a few
config files that weren't backed up (smtproutes was the one I noticed,
because I needed it!), so I was going to go through and have it back
basically all of the up. It's not much of an issue to include the
Squirrel stuff. Can anyone say if it's in the same location as Cent for
other distros?
And yes, I will let everyone know when I update it. I'm just glad so
many people make use of it!
