all user data?
Do you need smtp auth?
THanks

I really don't see how else it's going to work. You're either going to
use SMTP AUTH, or enable Roaming Users in vpopmail-toaster, which
requires POP before SMTP authentication instead. And so, again,
vpopmail needs to be able to still authenticate users against the
vpopmail database in MySQL.
In theory, you shouldn't need anything else but qmail-toaster (patched
to use MySQL for user authentication), vpopmail and the hourly transfer
of MySQL databases from one server to the other. I just don't have a
way of testing this out yet to know.
MySQL supports data replication. You can have your secondary server be
a replicated MySQL database and then in an emergency make it the master.
