You may want to check with the simscan list. I don't know, as I have
no interest in dspam, but this version does mention including dspam
support.

If you don't mind me asking, why Dovecot over Courier?

Is it also possible not to use the dspam options in simscan but to use dspam
in the ways described in other docs like
http://dspamwiki.expass.de/Installation/Qmail without any
interference.

Whatever happens I will give it a try and get back with the results.
