Jim,

In vpopmail terminology, this is called "roaming". Roaming is disabled
by default in the qmailtoaster distribution.  If you read
http://wiki.qmailtoaster.com/index.php/Vpopmail_roaming_users  you'll
see the steps necessary to enable this feature during compilation.

how do i enable pop3-before-smtp
I have done the following...
I know that I have port 443 poked in my cisco FW
( as well as 25,110,80 )

from an outside domain ( from at home , the mail server of concern is at

work and my work domain )
I have set my mail client ( outlook express )
to log in with authentication = would not get to the server - that is I 
could not SEND mail
I also checked " logon with secure password authentication " and that
did 
not work.
