FWIW, I updated clam from 90 to 92 yesterday. I'm running on CentOS 4.6
It was doing the 100% cpu usage, and rejecting all smtp mail for way too long. Are you getting any errors in the clam or spamd logs? For giggles, try manually rebuilding and reinstalling clamav, then do the same with your older version of spamassassin.
