I have a similar setup using drbd and heartbeat between two toaster boxes.
It does not give you any load sharing capability (as its purely an
active/passive setup), but does provide you with the redundancy you're
looking for.
Here too.
Currently have two partitions using drbd. One is active on each server.
Then some services are running on server A and some services are running
on server B.
In this way, there is some load balancing. This is only a simple load
balancing, if it can be called load balancing. Better than having one
server doing nothing.
