qtp-newmodel should work fine with your toaster's version(s).
I'd try using the unionfs sandbox first (I'm not sure if that old of
kernel version works with unionfs or not). If it has a problem using
unionfs (it won't hurt your running toaster if there's a problem), try
again using a linked or copied sandbox.

so I guess nobody had any suggestions...
Will a qtp-newmodel work for my old install? tried starting it and got this.:
Issuing command: qtp-newmodel
qtp-newmodel v0.3.4 starting tir nov 11 17:42:20 CET 2008
qtp-whatami v0.3.2
DISTRO=CentOS
OSVER=4.6
QTARCH=x86_64
QTKERN=2.6.9-67.0.4.EL
BUILD_DIST=cnt4064
BUILD_DIR=/usr/src/redhat
This machine's OS is supported, but this version/arch has not been tested.
If your OS is not current, you should consider upgrading it.
Do you want to proceed at your own risk? (yes, no) y/[n] : no

As that's a pretty old version, I'd hate to spend too much time
troubleshooting it. Are messages getting stuck in the queue? What does your
send log show?
You might consider upgrading. That shouldn't be a big deal with
qtp-newmodel. What distro/version are you running?

My mailserver have run now without trouble for several years, suddenly
last week it stopped sending emails to remote hosts. I get the:
Sorry,_I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(#4.4.1)
each time.. and it happens on each and every mail, not just for some
domains (mac.com, google.com and so on and so on)
I've tried
* turning off the firewall
* telnet to smtp servers without any problems
* dig mx google.com - no problems, very fast
Please help..
