Hi,
I've been trying to build off the dovecot 2.3.13 rpm, but so far I'm unsuccessful. The source rpm from their repo contains an error in the SPEC file and the build fails quickly. I worked around that error and found that I was able to get it to build (it doesn't do so reliably) but when I install it and try to run it, it fails with an error about not being able to find libdovecot.so. My impression is that source rpm isn't being very well supported/tested and that there are config related issues. Any thoughts or tips based on the problems I'm having and past experience with dovecot? I noticed that going from 2.3.11 to 2.3.13 the dovecot spec file has many changes and more patches than before. I have a fairly limited scope patch of my own to apply that I developed and tested on 2.3.11 but I can't even get 2.3.13 to build without it. I've been reaching out on the dovecot list but not getting very far yet. Steve > > Thank you Eric.
