You might have also seen the lastes weekly at
http://news.qooxdoo.org/the-week-in-qooxdoo-2008-09-26 : Martin starts
his Master thesis here at the qooxdoo core team. His task is to add data
binding (primarily UI data binding) to qooxdoo in a way that it is
absolutely competitive to other existing solution, i.e. both Ajax and
non-Ajax frameworks.

He'll start from scratch, aiming for a universal, but also practical and
smart solution. Once he made some progress, I'm sure he'll post about it
and ask for people's feedback. Might be a while before reaching his
first milestones, though, so please stay tuned.
