Hej Leandro!
>It seems to be really nice
Thank!
>But is it a good idea to use Flash when the open technologies like
>html5 are replacing it? Adobe will discontinue the flash in mobile
>platforms, where qooxdoo is beggining to explore.
It is all about compatibility and staying with old browsers too. We have to
work with what we have today.
HTML5 is supported in house. Nothing we have released yet.
>Qooxdoo is today a great RIA framework which doesn't require Flash to
>run. I think if the developer doesn't matter if user doesn't have the
>flash installed he can use Flex, for example.
Correct. We do support that in house, but nothing we have released to the
community.
>For example, mozilla is working in a pdf render written in Javascript
>called pdf.js. I use it everyday and it has a great potential.
>Although I use it as a extension to browser, it intend to be
>compatible with any page and web browser.
See above. It is great for modern browsers.
>That's just a suggestion.
We agree with you.
>Do the developers intend to merge the qxe in qooxdoo in a near future?
qooxdoo has not reached that level of openness yet, where contributor code is
included as part of the
core. It is a matter of resources, delegation of responsibilities etc where 1u1
has chosen to
keep all control on their hands so far. This might change in future, but only
the core team can
answer that.
>ps: sorry for my English
There is no problem with your English. :-)
