I'm afraid we just haven't got the resources currently to put a lot of 
effort into creating new themes. You've created qooxdoo themes yourself, 
and you probably know more than I about the challenges. Our hope is that 
people pick qooxdoo for technical merrits, and then find alternative 
themes among the contributions that please them.

BTW: What's your take on something like the latest themes for Google 
Mail, then?!
