Hi Martin

I really like it, the subdued colours really work well and have a nice
modern feel to them; it feels really quick to use too. I have a few
comments though:

(o) I don't like that the non-active tabs have no border it makes them
seem separate from the tab's content and doesn't give the impression that
they are tabs to be selected. IMHO it only looks like a tab control when
you're looking at the active tab, and if the active tab was scrolled off
screen or is a long way from where you're looking then it's not immediately
that it is a tab control.

(o) On non-active windows the minimize/close buttons are white and
contradict the colour of the caption which is white to indicate an active
window; against the dark background, the white is a high contrast that
really shines out and grabs attention which implies that it's active. If a
modal window is open, they remain bright but are unclickable. Perhaps the
colour could be darkened a little?

(o) Fairly minor point this, but the new muted/darker colour scheme seems
slightly at odds with the icons, which use a rich set of colours.

(o) The colour of the popup on the Misc tab of Widget browser also seems a
little odd compared to the colour scheme.

(o) This last one is not really related to the theme, but the tree's could
all do with some minor tweaking - IMHO the icons are a little small compared
to the text, there's way too much padding in Tree, a little too much padding
in VirtualTree, and too little padding in TreeVirtual, and finally the
'-'/'+' buttons would look more modern as a triangle pointing right/down.

Other than that I really like it! Congrats :)

John

Subject: [qooxdoo-devel] Indigo Theme Feedback

Hello,
as you might have read in our recent weekly blog post, we added a new theme
to the framework named indigo. For those of you haven't seen it, just take a
look at the standard apps we put online with that theme:
http://demo.qooxdoo.org/devel/
This theme is mainly designed to be align with the new look of qooxdoo.org
<http://qooxdoo.org> , which is already available in the manual and blog and
will be rolled out to the rest of the page very soon.
As we had some feedback on that blog post, I wanted to go into detail about
the critics. But I also wanted to give others a chance to put in their two
cent and help us to improve the theme.
Thanks,
Martin
