Yes, I'm using qooxdoo for intranet apps... My first app, written about three years ago is a standalone timeclock. It's platform is an all in one Asus Windows 7 machine with a touch screen that boots up into Chrome running in kiosk mode.
I am just about to release my second app which is a facility scheduling system. It replaces my eleven year old intranet app based on a small amount of Javascript in the browser and a Perl backend.
