I have asked them to do a release which they have voted on but not actually cut yet.. no response
Robert asked them again today if they have any objections with us using the 1.1.0-Snapshot we were using before which is revision 463149. We should get a response by Monday. .. If not I'm not sure what that means... It seems very odd that we can't just release the code.. if it was a c++ application the binary distro could be a single bin file, with no chance of someone reusing the code. The source code would be available but it state where the source came from and what reason.. I would have thought that was enough though IANAL and I'm new to the whole open source release process. Much easier to write the software than to let people actually use it. :D On 23/11/06, Steve Vinoski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi Martin, regarding this, has there been any progress in trying to convince the Mina folks to at least put a new snapshot release up on the snapshot maven repository? --steve On Nov 23, 2006, at 12:44 PM, Martin Ritchie (JIRA) wrote: > [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-92? > page=comments#action_12452295 ] > > Martin Ritchie commented on QPID-92: > ------------------------------------ > > Changes commited but the rolled back as cannot use maven to use a > local jar. ..
