I'd also like to be on the Qpid PMC.I've been involved with both Qpid and the AMQP WG since before Qpid became an Apache project. I'm a principal contributor to the python, Java (0-10), and ruby clients. I've participated heavily in getting many of the protocol extensions developed as part of Qpid officially incorporated into the AMQP spec. And finally, though this may hurt my chances, I did come up with the name "Qpid". ;)
