I would also like to be on the Qpid PMC. I might be called the inventor of AMQP (but many talented people have brought it on) and I have been involved with Qpid since before it became an Apache project; I initiated open sourcing the initial codebase. I also represent end-user interests, having deployed Qpid to mission critical systems on Java and .NET, including designing a clustered HA+BCP deployment for Qpid M1 transacted messaging. I have a keen interest in influencing the future direction of the project and helping ensure its a first class, standards compliant product.
