I have a couple of users using IMAP and it works okay though they have problems to mostly by breaking their connections when it's slow.
The main problem I see is users not waiting for large attachments to download and using alt control del to reboot they system this creates corrupt data files in outlook express, closing outlook express and rebooting normally sorts the problem. I also note that the main problems are with users logging in via ADSL (DSL) lines rather than those dailing in direct.
