Hello, I am using QT for embedded development (automated control for high altitude wind power systems, see: www.kitepower.eu).
For many years I was using Delphi, later C and Python, but for realtime- control- applications only C++ and Labview are a good choice. For very small devices - as we use them within the kite control unit - C++ is the only choice. QT is the only choice for me and most of my students, because pure C++ (with boost) is too difficult for part-time programmers. And with QT you can program desktop control applications, as well as small control applications. The only thing, that I am missing in QT-creator is a Python integration. Finding a way, how to add this would be important for me, but I think, this task could be done even without the support of Nokia.
