Thank you for the suggestion, but this is the problem. When I select QtCreator.exe by double clicking on it or by clicking the open button, in that "open with..." dialog it is not taken in account. QtCreator does not show up in the application list.

The QtCreator.exe is apparently not considered as a valid choice of application to run. It was properly working with Qt 4.5. Probably because it was done by installation process.

I checked file permission and they are right. I wouldn't be able to run it if it wasn't.

I'll try to reinstall it all.
