There are a few key things that make it possible. Designer is implemented as a library, available inside Qt as QtDesigner and QtDesignerComponents. The stand alone application is just instantiating the various designer components and putting them together. The tools/designer/src/designer directory and main.cpp in particular is where to start to look at how designer is built. Since designer is component based and each component can be pieced together individually, its just a matter of reparenting those components into the SWT ui of eclipse. For this we use ActiveX (+ActiveQt) on windows and X Embed (qx11embed_x11.h in QtGui). Then in SWT/eclipse we implement a few classes in java to handle things like projects, wizards, juic etc. I know its not much but its a few pointers at least... best regards, Gunnar _______________________________________________ Qt-jambi-interest mailing list [email protected] http://lists.trolltech.com/mailman/listinfo/qt-jambi-interest
