The new version now runs a shade faster than Maven on Windows XP (on
my machine anyway). A 1000 iteration, 2-ply sim with 10 words in the
kibitzer took about 7 and a half minutes. Maven takes a shade over 8.
A *big* advantage with Quackle, however, is that you can shortcut the
process considerably by deleting the dross as you go, without having
to start the sim from scratch again.
Maven was 2 to 3 times faster with ME though before I made the switch.
Does anyone know what the problem is with XP?
