I just tried a 5-ply sim and the difference in valuation of 2 
competing moves at iterations 14,000 and 15,000 changed by 0.4.  I did 
not expect that much so far in, but it makes sense.  5-ply is pretty 
deep, and it's an exponential gain in noise for each ply, so it's not 
that surprising.  for moves with evaluations of 1.0 or less between 
them it would seem that even 3000 its is WAY too little for 5-ply.
