Wow....u know, i've worried about burning up in the van on more than one occasion. Short storytime: i was driving, hung a left turn on an unlighted road, suddenly my lift motor that raises the lift engages....i started driving as fast as i could, but there was no business very near...after driving to a convenience store about 3-4 miles away, i slammed into the parking lot...smoke billowing from inside the van...i yelled at some guy leaving the store, he thought i was nuts, and wasn't moving too fast...i was trying to explain as fast as i could, but u can imagine he wasn't getting it. Finally, i unlocked my chair, went back there...started hitting the lift, and realized the stupid switch was stuck, and disengaged it. When i went around the turn, my lift caught the trigger, and pulled it on.
I always think about that when i go around that turn...guess u live n learn! -tony c5-c6 fla ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, August 06, 2004 2:34 PM Subject: [QUAD-L] Getting vans bought by DR > Hey Houston, did you see the article that I forwarded to the list about a > Quad Driver from Muncie who almost burnt up in custom modified van, but was saved > by a Indy Trooper and later the fire department?
