I would just like to introduce myself. My name is Teresa and I live in Fort Worth Texas. My son was injured on May 30, 2004, c4-c7 and t1 and t2. This has drastically changed all of our lives and I have been looking for support wherever I can find it. He just got out of TIRR a rehab in Houston, and will be returning in a couple aof months for his 2nd phase. We have already had problems with him getting SSI and insurance is one big headache. Im so glad there are places like this and it has been interesting reading all the mail. Any suggestions on getting acclamated to home? It hard sticking to a schedule and with his friends around all the time makes it more so, but we want to encourage them to come around not discourage it. How do we stay on top of things without embarrassing Stephen? He is only 16. Teresa
