Title: Re: [QUAD-L] New to this
Welcome Teresa there is a wealth of knowledge here on this sight. Yes this site is a Godsend it’s helped me a lot. Yeah encourage his friends 2 continue 2 visit but you’ll also have 2 try 2 be firm about his schedule. I was just saying 2 my aid this morning I personally think that 1 of the worst things I hate about my SCI is having 2 live my life on a schedule. Get up when the aid gets here, go 2 bed when the aid gets here, suppository everyother night when the nurse gets here. But it has 2 be done there are sometimez when I’ll be entertaining & I go 2 bed late get BP late. But my few friends understand I’ve explained the importance of having a schedule. 2 get off schedule than 2 get body back on schedule could be the difference between having accidents during the day & not.
Stephen should be just fine. Is he going 2 school this fall? I think that if he’s positive about it it would be good 4 him 2 get right out there & stay busy. It’ll cut down on the depression thats bound 2 come if he’s not all ready experiencing some now.
